Sourced from Lichinga, Mozambique, this gem exhibits a bold prime red hue with a semi-translucent body that diffuses the light passing through it giving it a glowing effect in sunlight. It measures 10mm x 7.8mm x 4.6mm, and displays a superior luster that glistens across every facet. This ruby is heated only, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10, making it perfect for setting.
