The unique color of this spinel is displayed in twinkling pops of padparadscha pink and orange around its edges set against deep shadows cast by its superior luster! The competing light and dark colors creates a mesmerizing contrast, enhancing the color of its flashing, which in turn makes its velvety shadows seem darker. And while all of this is going on, its facets add a little extra twinkle from its superior luster. The effect is gorgeous!
