Ancient! 16.25ct split Ammonite Fossil

This exceptional fossil has undergone skilled cutting to unveil a breathtaking Fibonacci sequence, presenting clearly defined chambers embellished with druzy crystals. On both sides of its outer shell, rainbow ammolite opal glimmers, displaying captivating shifts in light. Crisp, flared sutures resembling maple leaf patterns peek out from behind the opal development. When combined, this remarkable split piece measures approximately 22.6mm x 19.2mm x 3.7mm, boasting impressive size. Originating from the Cretaceous era, it hails from Madagascar and dates back approximately 100 million years.
