Intriguing Painting Two Ninjas by Bianchi

Original oil on canvas entitled Two Ninjas by artist Bianchi. Artworks measures 23 x 11 inches unframed and includes a custom built gold and black frame as shown in the photographs. Framed dimensions are approximately 32 x 20 inches. Born in Lucca, Italy, Giampaolo Bianchi is an artist who uses ideas of myth to create strong surreal images. His works are a representation of the school of the fantastic where inner expression exceeds the expectations of fantasy. It is said that as a viewer you can see both past and future through a use of oriental symbols and history. For example, the butterfly often represented in Bianchi?s work gives the idea of what was, the cocoon, and what could be, the butterfly. This particular example also leads to the idea of flight and transcendence. Vivid colors of orange, pink and yellow create a contrast with their black background to intrigue the eye. Bianchi?s ability to create fantasy through his painting technique is truly outstanding. Rambaut Museum; France, Italian Institute of Culture of Madrid; Madrid, Galleria Edigrafica; Palermo and now represented in the United States by Decorative Expressions. In addition to his many shows La Documenta films of Rome dedicated a film titled ?Giampaolo Bianchi, Quest? Amore? in 1980 to Bianchi.
