Rare 1908 Gala Swiss-Made .8 Silver Niello Pocket Watch

This one-of-a-kind timepiece pairs a Swiss-made c. 1908 Gala movement with an elegant, niello finished 0.800 silver case. It is in excellent, like-new condition. Its 40 mm movement spins on 15 jewels. The double-sunk dial is flawless and features filigree gilt hands. L.&W. Favre, SA (Louise-Eugene and William) started the Gala brand when the two bothers took over the family watchmaking business in 1904. This watch is in good working order and weighs 81.0 grams.
