Rainbow flashing! 42.97ct split Ammonite Fossil

This exquisite fossil has been expertly cut to reveal a stunning Fibonacci sequence, showcasing well-defined chambers adorned with druzy crystals. On both sides of the outer shell rainbow ammolite opal shimmers with changing light. Peeking out from behind the opal development are crisp, flared sutures resembling maple leaf patterns. Measuring approximately 25.8mm x 21mm x 7.1mm when combined, this remarkable split piece has great size. Originating from the Cretaceous era, it dates back approximately 100 million years and was sourced from Madagascar.
