This medium domed opal is fully translucent with electric pops of green and turquoise with touches of blue. Since opals have less density than other gems, they have a greater size to weight ratio giving you a much larger surface for the weight. You can see this first hand by the fact that this piece measures 10.7mm x 7.5mm x 4.2mm! And its surface displays a glistening liquid luster. Untreated!
