Antique Thai Buddha from the Sukhothai period of Thai history. Buddha is in the "Calling the Earth to Witness pose". This pose depicts Buddha meditating on spiritual enlightenment. He touches the earth to conquer the devil and evil forces. A great statue for those seeking protection and good fortune.  Origin: Thailand, Material: Bronze, deep rich gray/greenish patina.
