Enchanting 4.50ct red orange Fire Opal nugget

This is a great piece. It has a rich, firey red orange opal still paired with natural matrix with a well polished luster. Since opals are organic and have lighter density than other gems, they have a greater size to weight ratio giving them more more surface for their carat weight. This great example measures 11mm x 8mm x 7mm, and was sourced from Mexico. Untreated.
