Beautiful Asian Snuff Bottle with screw on Cap

A highly detailed Asian snuff bottle. Adorned with red coral and turquoise beads.  This would be worn as a pendant on a necklace or more commonly worn around the waist and clasped to a belt.  This snuff bottle retains the original cap. Snuff Bottles used to contain medicinal herbs and powers used by traveling monks. These herbs and powders were used while meditating. Origin: Hong Kong, Material: Antique Brass. Measurements: 1.5 x 1.25 x .50 inches. Weight: approximately 30 grams. Screw-on cap for a secure fit. A rare and beautiful piece!
