This piece has phenomenal color! The rich red hue of this ruby is tempered with a violet undertone, and is filled with rusty orange striations that give it a metallic shine and constant color shifts. It is covered with a glistening superior luster, and has a semi opaque body. It measures 9mm x 7mm x 3.6mm, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 9 out of 10 making it perfect for setting.
