Art Deco 1937 Hamilton "Carlisle" GF Mechanical Watch

This rare 1937 Carlisle model is part of Hamilton's curved-to-fit-the-wrist lineup. The Carlisle was only produced in '37 & '38.  It's a slender art deco watch distinguishable from the similar period Hamilton watches by the 6 below the seconds subdial. The Carlisle features the size 14/0, 17 jewel, calibre 980 movement in a 14K yellow gold filled case.  This one includes the optional gold applied dial numerals and matching gilt hands, once only a $2.50 premium. It is in very good aesthetic and running condition. The retro-style replacement band is new. This watch weighs 29.2grams.
