Large 6.52ct multi flashing semi-black Ethiopian Opal

Unlike most opals that need to be turned to certain angles to see their play of color, this opal exhibits a constant smoldering play of color. It glows with pinfire and floral flashing in reds, greens, and indigos with touches of gold in layered patterns. This piece has a pear cabochon cut, and measures 16.5mm x 11.3mm x 8mm.
