"Shakespeare" is a hand painted limited edition silkscreen on canvas by Andy Warhol protege Steve Kaufman (1960-2010). An edition of this piece is part of the permanent collection in the Shakespeare Museum in Stratford-upon-Avon. This piece is AP numbered 13/50 and hand signed inverso. There is an inscription inverso that reads, "To Robert Machray, Pease and Prosper". Includes letter of authenticity. As is common with Kaufman's works, this piece may have perceived minor flaws, but is in overall good condition. Measures approx. 36" x 47" (image). ** Please note: due to this piece being previously stretched and mounted, there are creases along the borders of the image that may be concealed when the piece is re-stretched. **
