Gorgeous 1.09ct semi black Welo Opal

This opal has pops of play of color that rolls through its semi-black hue and smoky translucency with smoldering greens, oranges and golds. Since opals have less density than other gems, it has a great size to weight ratio, measuring 9mm x 6.9mm x 2.9mm and is finished with a glistening liquid luster. Sourced from Ethiopia. Untreated!
