The color of this gem is rich and velvety, and is enhanced by its glittering superior luster. It has full bodied saturation, and smoky translucency that creates a glowing effect. This ruby was heat treated, evident by the presence of lead bearing glass. It was sourced from Mozambique, and measures 10mm x 7.6mm x 4mm.
