Vibrant! 6.16ct imperial red Ruby

The color of this gem really pops! It is rich and velvety, but has bright saturation creating an imperial red hue that stands out in a crowd. It has full bodied saturation with smoky translucency, and is filled with smoldering cherry pink flashing. This ruby was heat treated, evident by the presence of lead bearing glass, and was sourced from Madagascar. It has a low-profile cut and measures 13.3mm x 10.7mm x 3.9mm, making it perfect for pendant setting.
