Collectors 4.96ct gem grade untreated Scapolite cabochon

Gem grade scapolite is extremely rare, and is coveted by gem and mineral collectors, and a must have for your private or professional collection. Yellow scapolite is only found in five places around the world to date, with richer varieties coming from regions in Africa, while lighter varieties come from Brazil. This very large example was sourced from Mozambique, and has light saturation with a gorgeous pale champagne hue and black pepper inclusions. It measures an impressive 10.6mm x 9.8mm x 6.5mm, and has a glistening liquid luster. Mohs hardness rating: 6 out of 10. UNTREATED!
