Huge 22.02ct sea blue unheated Grandidierite

The cut of this gem is simply stunning and very unique. It presents a sea blue hue with a slight green undertone held under a glistening high polished luster. It measures an impressive 22.0mm x 17.7mm x 10.5mm, and has a semi-translucent body. This scarce gemtype is known by collectors and connoisseurs as one of the rarest in the world, and this example was sourced from the now depleted deposit near Tranomaro, Madagascar.
