Rare Ricoh Medallion Automatic Men's Watch

This is the Medallion Automatic Day Date by Ricoh, c. 1970. It is in excellent condition and in its original box. The admired R31 movement spins on a proper 21 jewels. It boasts being waterproof and shock resistant. The polished stainless steel case has a screw back. Its dial sports a full day and separate date window. The crystal includes a magnifier over the date window. The period American-made leather band adds a nice nuance. Ricoh, the esteemed camera and electronics company, produced fine watches from the 1950s through the 1990s. This watch is in good working order and weighs, sans box, 56.6 grams.
