Exciting 6.22ct ink blue Sapphire from Madagascar

This piece has excellent and dynamic color. It features strong color saturation with a deep blue hue that moves to ink blue when held to light, and an amazing liquid luster that givings it the appearance of being wet. It measures 11.8mm x 9.6mm x 5.5mm and was sourced from Madagascar. This large example was heat treated, evident by the presence of lead bearing glass.
