It has incredible size, measuring 58.1mm x 37mm x 6.4mm, and is untreated. Malachite has a long history, from its use as a protective amulet in ancient times, to being ground for pigments for painting, to the great "Malachite Room" at the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia, this gemstone has been admired for its unique green color palette for generations.
