1870 Lease Indenture Eagle Clinton County Michigan Ionia and Lansing Railroad

State Of Michigan Lease Indenture from July 11, 1870

"The said Benjamin Silsbe in consideration of the rents and covenants heron specified does hereby let and lease to the said party of the second part his Wheat House or Grain elevator situate at the village of Grand Ledge Eaton County State of MI.  Near th track of the Ionia and Lansing TRailRoad on land sold by Harrison Halbert to send Rail road Company and the right of way to and from said building for the term of one Year"

Indenture has five hand-cancelled internal revenue stamp of 5 cents.

Ther is some small tears near the indenture's folds.
