Exceptional top blue violet 4.85ct UNHEATED Tanzanite

This is a fantastic example of rare tanzanite. Heating is a perfectly acceptable treatment for this gem type, but this tanzanite is unheated, and is the same color as the rough that was mined in Tanzania. The color palette of this gem is rich and full, with a D block indigo blue hue. It measures 11.7mm x 8.4mm x 6.1mm, and has a glistening superior luster. Sourced from Tanzania.
