Magnificent 258.17ct untreated Malachite set

This is such a beautiful set. The rich green hues of this malachite is filled with demure swirling striation under liquid lusters that glisten over their smooth cabochon cuts. They have incredible size, measuring from 22x16mm to 12x8mm, and are untreated. Malachite has a long history, from its use as a protective amulet in ancient times, to being ground for pigments for painting, to the great "Malachite Room" at the Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia, this gemstone has been admired for its unique green color palette for generations.
