Heated only 6.96ct mirror luster Sapphire cabochon

This fantastic gemstone features rich color saturation held through a rich midnight blue hue, and is accented by a superior mirror luster. When presented in light, this gem lights up with flashing that dances across its surface. This stunning example was sourced from Mozambique, and measures 11.5mm x 10.0mm x 5.5mm. This natural sapphire was heat treated, evident by the presence of lead bearing glass.
