This is a rare example of untreated gahnospinel presenting a rich midnight blue hue with strong saturation giving it a breath-taking depth of color. It has a dazzling diamond grade luster that twinkles off of each facet, and its mixed emerald cut creates pops of needle fine flashing. It has great size for setting, measuring 11.4mm x 6.8mm x 5.3mm, and a Mohs hardness rating of 8 out of 10. Sourced from Mogok, Burma. Untreated!
