The beautiful maiden seems to glide into the air on the back of a winged cherub. This sculpture is laden with the Hellenistic approach of art with it is mythology and natural grace. She kneels on the back of the cherub while a long robe sinuates around her nude form. Both figures hold up above their heads a bundle of flowers. This bronze sculpture was cast using the age-old method of lost-wax casting and stained with a brown patina finish for preservation and mounted upon a marble base.
