Brilliant flashing 2.62ct semi-black Opal

The wide panel floral flashing of this piece rolls across its surface in a non-stop display of vivid pinks, oranges, yellows and greens while its rich semi-black hue enhances its flashing, adding vibrancy with its juxtoposition of color. It has a medium domed cabochon cut with incredible size, measuring 12.5mm x 9.7mm x 5.6mm, and is finished with a glistening liquid luster. This is an untreated example. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia.
