Size 9.6x3.2 feet, made of fine quality baby lamb's wool pile on cotton foundation, all natural vegetable dye, incorporating a beautiful all-over tribal medallion design on a red and black background and magnificently done by an intricate multi-layer tribal border. A rare and hard to find rug in today's marketplace. Carpet-weaving is one of the most ancient forms of Turkmen applied art. The magical beauty and longevity of Turkmen rugs come from the traditions of carpet-weaving, that reached high perfectness and artistic expressiveness of gel during the many centuries of its existence.
