The color of this gem is rich and velvety, and enhanced by a stunning mirror quality superior luster. It is well cut with full bodied saturation, and smoky translucency that creates a glowing effect. This ruby was heat treated, evident by the presence of lead bearing glass. It was sourced from Mozambique, and measures 17mm x 11.3mm x 7.5mm.
