40 Unsearched Silver War Nickels. 3 or 4 uncs seen with quick scan. From an unsearched lot of 2000. They substituted silver in these nickels through the end of the war as copper was in high demand and more expensive than silver Copper was neede for ordnance , wire , motors and many other uses.
