Remarkable 4.17ct block honeycomb Opal

This opal resembles a rainbow colored disco ball with a rolling block pattern that displays its play of color in vibrant panels set against a tight honeycomb pattern. The colors of this piece glow in a shifting array of reds and greens highlighted with oranges and yellows and touches of turquoise, shimmering under its pearlescent luster. It has incredible size measuring 13.9mm x 9.9mm x 7.2mm, and was cut from pure Welo opal. This is an untreated example.
