$3 State of Mississippi May 1 1864 Note . Believe it shows Confederate officer and flag , with a bald eagle in a nest. Poor paper and ink with numerous ink burn spots . Mostly not obvious with out looking strongly into the light. Otherwise would be AU as there is one softe hard crease in a corner only seen on the reverse. Tough state in general. Ink signed and numbered. No printers name stated.Good hand cutting
