40 Unsearched Silver War Nickels. Stock Photo. Two uncs seen. Not checked for anything. There was a severe copper shortage as there were many uses during the war for copper. .They substituted silver which was more plentiful and believe it or not more expensive. Frequently seen in WW11 museum displays
