THE ART OF WEAVING TAPESTRIES HAS BECOME A RESPECTED TRADITION OF FRENCH HERITAGE. FOR THE MAKING OF THIS PARTICULAR TAPESTRY, STUDIO DESIGNERS FIRST CREATED A PAINTING IN THE SIZE OF THE FINE TAPESTRY FOR PREPARATION. AFTER PLANNING TECHNICAL DESIGNS OF FABRIC, THE LOOM IS SET UP AND THE WEAVING, SPECIFICALLY JACQUARD WEAVING, BEGINS. THE STUDIO DESIGNERS, AT THE TOP OF THEIR PROFESSION, WORK IN FLANDERS, ONE OF THE BIRTHPLACES OF TAPESTRY.
