The blue-violet play of color of this opal creates an electric shimmering effect as it pulses across its velvety black body like ripples in a pond. It displays a mix of block and floral flashing, with a touch of electric green. It has substantial size measuring 21mmmm x 16.2mm x 5.3mm, and a translucent body when held to the light with a glistening luster. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia. Heated only.
