SPANISH ARTIST FERNANDO ALCARAZ'S STUNNING 'TOWN' ORIGINAL CITYSCAPE, MADE OF OIL ON BOARD, WITH ORNATE CUSTOM BUILT FRAME. IMAGE MEASURES 13X48 INCHES (33 X 122 CM) AND WITH FRAME MEASURES APPROXIMATELY 25 X 60 INCHES OVERALL. FERNANDO ALCARAZ WAS BORN IN ALCOY, ALICANTE, SPAIN IN 1969. HE ATTENDED THE ESCUELA DE ARTES Y OFICIOS IN ALCOY AT THE AGE OF 15. ALCARAZ EXPERIMENTED WITH A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT MEDIUMS INCLUDING PASTELS, WATERCOLORS, AND PENCIL DRAWINGS, BEFORE WORKING WITH OIL PAINTING. EACH PAINTING BY ALCARAZ CONSISTS OF LAYER UPON LAYER OF OIL PAINT PROVIDING AN AGED AND DIMENSIONAL QUALITY. THIS SCENE OF A QUAINT TOWN IS SEEN AS AN OFFERING, AN INVITATION TO BASK IN THE PLEASURES OF SPANISH CULTURE.
