Top quality 17th century French design tapestry rug. Size 9 X 12 feet, made of fine quality lamb's wool pile. As a result of the handmade weaving process, not all sides may be straight or corners square.
Notice on Rugs: The beauty and the value of vintage or antique rugs are hidden in the uniqueness by the personal touch of the master weaver from the tools that they have or had available to them. Due to these old processes, rugs may not have straight lines or square corners. While we do our best to inspect them, some pieces may contain repairs or difficult-to-see spots. Please bid accordingly.
