Original oil painting by internationally renowned Dutch artist Cornelis Le Mair. Titled Nude, this large scale painting comes with a custom-carved wooden frame and measures 71 x 39 inches unframed. Framed dimensions are approximately 81 x 49 inches.This artwork appears in the artist's portfolio book and the book which will come with the painting, has been hand-signed by the artist.  Cornelis Le Mair was born in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, in 1944. As be submersed himself in art at an early age, he found himself drawn to works by Rembrandt and other Dutch masters. He begn academic art training in The Netherlands at 18, and then moved on to the Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium which awarded him placement in a high institute for further art training. he returned to Eindhoven in 1970. When looking at this painting, the viewer can tell Le Mair works in three specific schools of art: the Renaissance, the Romantic, and the Modern. He incorporates portrait painting as well as elements of Dutch still life tradition. Le Mair works in elaborate lighting and shadowing, as did the Old Masters, but infuses his own style through the use of wide brushstrokes. Le Mair has several books published on his works. His triptych titled The Allegory on the Transitoriness of Beauty was exhibited at the Kempeland Museum in Eindhoven (1995), the Castle of Zeist (1997), and the Westfries Museum (1999), and has been appraised for $2.5 million. Le Mair continues working in the arts, perfecting his craft in painting, drawing, writing, sculpture, interior design and architecture- like a true Renaissance man.

Fernando Iba?ez Alcaraz was born in Alcoy, Alicante (Spain) in 1969. Growing up with an interest for the arts, Alcaraz began his studies at the Escuela de Artes y Oficios in Alcoy at the age of 15. For the next six years, and with the help from his mentor, Alcaraz continued to develop his artistic techniques and drawing abilities. Throughout these years Alcaraz developed skills and interests in pastels, watercolors and pencil drawings, which has increased his flexibility as an artist. Today, he chooses to focus his career and passions in oil painting. Alcaraz is an artist whose talents provide him to work in various styles and mediums. His drawing skills provide him with the roots necessary to paint portraits of figures and animals, still lifes of fruit and flowers, or landscapes from nature?s palette to his beach, Spanish village, and simple roses that grow in his garden.
