40 Unsearched Silver War Nickels. Quick scan saw 3 uncs. Not checked for variety or anything. Around 50 percent silver. Around $60 in silver value alone. There was a shortage of copper during WW11 and silver was plentiful so they substituted silver which was actually cheaper than copper. Must have been eaasier to strike than the steel cents as they were made for4 years Stock Photo
