This very large opal measures a whopping 19mm x 13.1mm x 6.8mm, and exhibits an amazing silky black hue covered by a liquid luster that makes it appear wet. The play of color of this piece smolders under the surface in torrents of reds and yellows with green shifts and blended oranges. The photos of this piece were taken under lighting set to mimic full sunlight. Sourced from Welo, Ethiopia. Heated.
