This unique opal has a semi-black top with a black bottom! Cut from the same vein, you can see the well defined point where the colors naturally converge. It exhibits red, green and gold play of color with pops of rare turquoise and violet held under its glistening liquid luster. This rare collectors example of converging opal crystals is unheated, and shows much more play of color in person. It measures 15mm x 10.9mm x 7mm, and was sourced from Welo, Ethiopia.
