Magnificent Handmade 1070s Fine Part Silk Royal Persian Isfahan Rug. Made of all natural, vegetable dye, hand woven, softest baby lamb's wool pile on pure silk foundation. this breathtaking beautiful Isfahan is woven by a renowned master weaver Seyrafian. To achieve a highly intricate pattern, a silk foundation is used, and with this Isfahan one would readily observe the sharp, crisp, and well defined end product. Given the fact that the city of Isfahan lies at the edge of the desert, it is rather unusual to come across a rug with such a predominantly beige color background. Primary colors are typically used in Persian rugs to absorb the harsh and intense desert sunlight, in order to be soothing to the eyes. This impeccable and splendid looking royal Isfahan is masterfully hand woven, knot by knot, and it has about 300 knots per square inch.
