This item is in excellent condition and has only been displayed in a gallery setting. Item includes frame; framed dimensions are approximately 22x20 inches, the canvas is 13x11 inches. Jordi Andreu Fresquet was born in Badalona, in 1940, in the breast of artists' family. From a young age he had a fondness for an artistic vocation, and had a firm conviction that his medium for expression would be painting. His interest in the arts only increased as he grew up, and he enrolled in the Escuela de Artes y Oficios- Rasher. There he studied from 1955 to 1962. The artistic force of Andreu Fresquet is seen in the collective experiences of the Sala de Arte Moderno. Many figurative avant-garde artists have cultivated a unique form of expressionism came together to form a coherent group inside the new figuration movement of the 70's. Through this group they worked to develop this new figuration movement between what was known as abstraction and the neo-impressionism.
