This gem was sourced from the Koroit opal fields in the Paroo shire of southwest Australia, and is gorgeous. This exotic boulder opal is very well marbled with a dark to light swirling matrix that frames rich blue violet and blue opal crystal. It has an incredible liquid luster, and measures 38.4mm x 18.5mm x 7.7mm. This is an untreated boulder opal, it contains pure opal and matrix.
