This is a collector's item. Hand woven by a master weaver in Qum, Iran. The approximate year of origin: 2000-2010. Qum is known as the birthplace of some of the finest silk rugs of Iran. These fine pieces have not only the finest weave but also display a uniqueness in the broad range of designs and choices of colors. This is best understood and appreciated when one becomes aware of the fact that Qum lies at the edge of the desert, a harsh and barren type of environment.
