40 Silver WW11 War Nickels.There was a shortage of copper so they substituted silver which was cheaper and more in supply. Copper was needed for electronics and ordinance as well as shell casings etc Frequently seen in museum displays. Not searched for varieties or anything but one with a laminated reverse seen with a quick scan. About $1.50 in silver in them in this hot market. Stock photo
