Cut from pure Brazilian topaz, this amazing gem exhibits a platinum blue hue with a platinum green undertone giving it a gently shifting palette. The luster of this topaz is exquisite, glistening and twinkling off of every well cut facet, while enhancing the abundant waves of liquid and wide stroke flashing that sparkle through its pristine VS clarity. What really makes this giant gem special though, is that it is untreated. Although heat and irradiation are standard treatments for topaz, this example is all natural. Its color and clarity are the same now as when it was mined. It measures an impressive 26mm x 21.7mm x 14.4mm, and has a Mohs hardness rating of 8 out of 10.
