1878-8TF Morgan Dollar VAM-4 ICG MS-64 with beautiful original red toning on both sides.  Some additional blue toning on the rim.  Spectacular appearance!   The VAM-4 refers to a Doubled Date.  NOTE:  A VAM number is the designation of a specific variety of Morgan/Peace Dollar, as identified by the authors Leroy VanAllen and George Mallis.  There are about 2,000 varieties documented, and many of those varieties add value to the basic date of the coin, due to additional rarity and desirability.  Top-100 refers to being one of the 100 most valuable VAMs;  Hot-50 refers to the next 50 most valuable VAMs, of the total number available.  This VAM coin will be accompanied by corresponding documentation and identification.
